Now preparing a focused selection of original work by Mike Ploog, an artist whose distinctive approach helped define the look of 1970s horror comics. Celebrated for his work on Werewolf by Night, Ghost Rider, Man-Thing, and The Monster of Frankenstein, Ploog combined expressive draftsmanship with a strong sense of atmosphere and movement, shaped in part by his early apprenticeship under Will Eisner. His later work in storyboarding and film design further broadened that visual legacy, positioning his art at the intersection of comics, animation, and cinema.
Individual works will be presented as cataloguing is completed, with select material made available for study and acquisition.
